A real connection to the song
by: Anonymous

Hi.
My father in law passed away back home in Norway, while I was visiting family in Halifax. The funeral was held before I could get home, but my niece choosed to get a singer sing "In the arms of an Angel", without knowing that Sarah is from Halifax. I thought that it was somewhat symbolic with me and my daughter being fast in Halifax. The song has alot of symbolic meaning to my father in law`s life.

Two songs were sang, the other a swedish song because he was half swedish and norwegian. I find it soothing and comforting thinking that "In the arms of an angel" was sang at the funeral. Before passing away, he had to swedish doctor students, who were definitely angels that took excellent care over him. The swedish angels were there on his last voyage, angels that my father in law appreciated.
I am a nurse and work at the nursing home where he passed away, so I know that he had angels taking care of him. THe song fit so well too, a very nice closure to a long life.
