Daddy's gone to heaven
he left with God today
flying on the wings of angels
when God took him away

God called and daddy answered
God needs him more than I
I had him but a little while
before he said goodbye

Daddy knows I love him
though I never got to say
I love you to my daddy
before he went away

Now daddy flies with angels
and someday I will see
