This is a beautiful song for a funeral because in the original solo version by Aretha (on itunes), the song begins very slow and soft but gradually becomes faster with a jazz feel. During the beginning of the song, people were asked to take a quiet moment to think about their friend and loved one and as the music picked up pace, baskets with pictures of the person's life were left on tables for friends and family to view. The baskets included photos of friends and family at picnics, get-togethers, speical holidays, etc. It was so memorable and incredible.
