I remember hearing this song and thought it would be good to sing at a funeral of a father, grandparent, someone who was there to guide you to adulthood and teach you moral values. Even if they're not related to you this person could be a father, mother or big brother or sister figure so this is a really good goodbye and thank you song. It's light enough not to be completely depressing but not so light that it seems out of place. |
