Tyrone

by Jodie
(Leeds, UK)

T hursday was the day you died,
on that day we cried and cried,
Y ou left our world and we felt blue,
knowing there was nothing that we could do,
R emember all the good times we had,
of those memories we are glad,
O ver and over it plays on my mind,
you truly were one of a kind,
N ever in a million years
did we think we'd shed these tears,
E very single step we take
the more our hearts seem to break,

A silent night, a silent tear
We pray to God that you were still here.
