We have all the time in the world - Louis Armstrong

by Helen
(London)

I had this played at my mother's funeral recently. She was a big fan of Louis Armstrong and I understand that he recorded this about a week before he died.

I heard it on the radio the day after she died and realised straight away that this was the song to play. He talks about leaving the cares of the world far behind us which seemd so right.

Other songs I thought about were:
"Days" by the Kinks (the Kirsty McColl version) and "Travellin' Light" by Cliff Richard

This song is available now on Louis Armstrong - The Best of Bond...James Bond - We Have All the Time In the World
