Wonderful memories of days gone by
Those thoughts I hold so dear.
My mum, my friend, my confidant
I wish you were still here.
No daily chats on the telephone, no visits or days out,
But I know you’re watching over me,
In that there is no doubt.
Sadly now we are apart,
But you will always be close by
As my love for you is deep in my heart
And will be until I die.
