“Twenty Good Reasons” was written by Thirsty Merc singer Rai Thistlethwayte. According to the band’s website, the song was written when Rai Thislethwayte was visiting New York. He had just ended a relationship. The song is about how life seems to go on like normal even when a person is dealing with inner turmoil. Sometimes a person needs to let go of control of the situation and let some time pass to feel normal again. But the song is asking a question why does it have to be like this?
